Zenessis Delivers 2 × 650 kVA Generator Sets for the Swiss Embassy

Zenessis successfully delivered two 650 kVA diesel generator sets for the Swiss Embassy in Kosovo, providing a reliable 1.3 MVA standby power solution for the facility.

The generator sets were engineered in a super-silent configuration, achieving a noise level of only 65 dB(A) at 7 metres— a key requirement due to the sensitive urban environment and rooftop installation.

One of the main challenges of the project was the installation itself. Due to the location of the technical area, both 650 kVA generator sets had to be lifted by crane to the 15th-floor rooftop, requiring careful coordination between engineering, logistics and installation teams.

The units were designed and manufactured by Zenessis to meet the project’s specific requirements, combining high power output with exceptionally low acoustic emissions and a configuration adapted to the restricted installation conditions.

This project demonstrates Zenessis’ capability to deliver custom-engineered standby power solutions for embassies, government facilities and other critical infrastructure, including projects where noise restrictions, limited installation space and complex logistics require solutions beyond a standard generator set.
