- Data Center
Before purchasing electric generators, it is important to determine the exact consumption needs as well as the location where they are to be placed. The sizing of a power generator is carried out by the design department, taking into account all the essential parameters of your project.
These electricity generators produce single-phase or three-phase electricity.
Three-phase electric generators – are built to produce a voltage of 230/400 Volts (for Romania) and single-phase electric generators – produce a voltage of 230 Volts.
Diesel (diesel) electric generators are recommended due to their very long life and low operating costs. Diesel electric generators are quiet due to their low speed of 1500rpm and their maintenance is simple and easy. Also the efficiency produced by diesel electric generators is usually 30% higher than for gasoline electric generators.
The power rating of these electrical generators is an important element in choosing the optimal power generator. We recommend that a power generator used for continuous operation should never operate with a load less than 40% of the maximum power that can be supplied. The optimal load is between 50% and 70%.
Electric power generators enclosed in soundproof enclosures are designed for outdoor installation. These types of electric generators do not require fixing on a concrete platform as they are equipped with adjustable supports that also provide protection against vibrations that may occur during operation.
Electricity generators can also be installed indoors, in which case it is necessary to make air and smoke supply and exhaust slots. Thanks to the high efficiency of the diesel engine, these electric generators can also work in cogeneration, supplying both electricity and heat at the same time!
